First real setback in a while. Of course it stings, but well, such things happen. Better luck next time etc. It wouldn't irritate me as much if it wasn't for that one thing, though..

Yay, at Kauhava atm and everything is ok, except that our net connection doesn't work at Vaasa. Moved Kahvi out and Aleks in, which was way smoother than I thought. Although I miss Kahvi, I'm pretty happy with the current situation *-*

I'm kinda in a hurry, just wanted to let you know both Aleks and I (and Yoshi, our substitute for a child XD) are still very much alive.

Let's hope the connection starts working again asap.

Wrote some comments about the Ayabie gig on my Last.fm, read if you're interested. It's not a gig report (since my memories of the gig are rather hazy and more like "then I ran backstage" and "then I went to see if the girl who fainted was ok" than anything else), just a couple of notions.

Listened to the X3M program, it was actually pretty good even if it was short and I sounded terrible. Don't have it on my computer yet but once I get it I'll share it.

The Plastic Tree tickets will go on sale on June 27th at Morticia, the price is 28e. Go and buy them, ok XD

I'm so fed up with certain people.

1) If you think we suck, why bother? Please, stay at home if you're not interested and only plan to talk shit about us, the band and the whole gig in general, no matter what happens at the gig. Let the rest of us enjoy it, ok?

2) You act as if you know everything, while you clearly have no idea. There are reasons behind our decisions and rules, they are necessary.

3) The photography. Nearly all visual bands deny all photography on their gigs, especially if they're anything bigger than a teeny tiny indies band, because it's important for their image. The management is extremely sensitive about it. Fucking that up may well mean you'll never get to promote that band - or any other band they're affiliated with. Yeah, if you want to guarantee your precious little jrock bands never again come to Finland, please do take the pictures. I hope they're worth it.

4) It's not us and it certainly isn't the band that makes the big decisions, it's the management.

5) If you have no idea about the business or the way things go, please don't stick your nose to other people's business. We've had to fight to get this far. I'd like to see you do the same, especially in this short a time.

There was an interesting Oprah show on tv today, about transsexual identical twins, two FtoM and one MtoF. Damn that first guy was hot.

Quite good, except that she goes by my article almost word by word at some points XD But at least the info is more or less right. Certainly an improvement. Despa! And Suvi sounded so cool!
